Making a difference: Adrian

On 15 May, Adrian took part in the Great Ocean Road Marathon raising funds and awareness for the Prader-Willi Research Foundation of Australia. Sweating it out along the iconic Great Ocean Road, Adrian finished the half-marathon of 21.1kms in an impressive time of 1hr 51 mins.

In Adrian's words, "I'm very passionate about Prader-Willi research because I believe every child, young person and family living with this deserves every opportunity to live life to the best of their capabilities aided by what prevention/cure can be found."

"Life is what is it and our natural instinct is to help in any way, shape or form. Love and support goes a long way, but sometimes that little bit extra can make a great difference".

Adrian raised over $700 for Prader-Willi research and isn't done yet. He'll be taking part in the Sydney Running Festival in September to continue his fundraising efforts.

A huge thank you to Adrian for all his efforts, and for choosing to make a difference to the lives of people living with Prader-Willi syndrome. Adrian would like to thank all the staff and customers of the Port Arlington Bakehouse for their kind support and encouragement.
