Call for Abstracts
The 2026 Prader-Willi Research and Family Conference invites researchers, clinicians, allied health professionals, students, and community advocates to contribute to this landmark event. Presenting at the conference is an opportunity to share your expertise, highlight new discoveries, and engage with families, practitioners, and peers from across Australia and around the world.
Submission Guidelines
We welcome submissions for:
Oral Presentations
Poster Presentations – Visual displays featured during dedicated poster sessions.
Workshops & Panels – Interactive sessions designed to build skills and foster collaboration.
Important Deadlines
Abstract Submission Deadline: 27th April, 2026
Late submissions cannot be considered, so we encourage you to submit early.
Themes & Areas of Interest
Submissions are invited in alignment with the conference streams:
Research & Discovery: New scientific findings, clinical trials, genetic research, and emerging methodologies.
Clinical Practice & Allied Health: Evidence-based care, treatment innovations, interdisciplinary approaches.
Innovation & Future Directions: Technology, service delivery models, and forward-looking strategies.
Family Empowerment & Advocacy: Navigating services, peer support, NDIS, and lived experience-led approaches.
We also welcome abstracts that highlight cross-disciplinary collaborations, policy implications, or global perspectives relevant to the PWS community.
Requirements:
Abstracts must fit on a single A4 page and follow the specifications in the abstract template.
Include title, author(s), affiliations, and contact details for the presenting author.
Clearly state the objectives, methods, results, and conclusions (where applicable).
Presenting authors will be expected to register for the conference at their own cost.
Abstract Submission
Before submitting, please ensure you have reviewed the guidelines and deadlines. All accepted presenters must register for the conference by the date provided in your letter of acceptance.
