What to expect:
The evening opens with a two course dinner. As part of registration, you'll pre-select a main course and dessert from the options provided in the form.
Following dinner, everyone is invited to enjoy karaoke, followed by a movie from about 9pm.
Important information
An emergency contact must be provided for each participant. Emergency contacts must remain available by phone and be able to attend the venue if required during the event.
The Orange Hive staff will provide overall coordination of the evening. While the team has extensive experience supporting people living with PWS, staff are not able to provide dedicated one-to-one support or manage complex individual support needs during the event.
If the person living with PWS attending requires individualised support, behavioural support, medication assistance, personal care or other supports to participate safely, please contact us prior to registering to discuss support requirements. In some circumstances, it may be necessary for a familiar support worker or family member to accompany the participant to ensure they can participate safely and enjoy the event.
Our priority is to provide an inclusive, safe and positive experience for all attendees. We encourage families and carers to discuss any support requirements with us before the event so appropriate arrangements can be considered.
